William A. Durdel, Sr.


Bill Durdel received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at Geneseo, SUNY.  Upon graduation in 1973, he joined Pyramid Companies in Syracuse, NY where he was trained in office building management and tenant build-out construction.

1974 - In 1974, Mr. Durdel joined the Beacon Companies of Boston, MA as an Assistant Project Manager for the construction of One Lincoln Center, a 350,000 square foot office building in Syracuse, NY, where he was responsible for the build-out of all tenant office improvements.  In July of 1975, he relocated to Rochester, NY with the Beacon Companies to start up Pinnacle Place, a 407 unit, 18 story senior citizen high rises, where he began his property management career. 

1978 - During his tenure with the Beacon Companies, Mr. Durdel met Richard Pine who founded Conifer Development, Inc.  In 1978, he joined the fledgling real estate development company and served as its Vice President and General Manager for 12 years.  Mr. Durdel was responsible for organizing and directing the marketing and management functions at Conifer which grew to a portfolio value in excess of $300 million dollars, involving 50 apartment projects and 18 commercial, office and retail properties.

1990 - In June of 1990, Mr. Durdel organized Baldwin Real Estate Corporation with his long-time associate, John L. DiMarco.  Baldwin is a privately owned company which provides property management and asset management services to the real estate market throughout New York and Pennsylvania.

        • IREM Course 800 - "Ethics in Real Estate Management"
        • In 1995 Mr. Durdel was included in IREM's "Academy of Excellence"
        • Education and Ethics Committee, Chairman, Chapter #58 since 1990
  • New York State licensed Real Estate Broker.
